Regarding this possibility
We are currently seeking a Network Engineer who will be in charge of designing, tuning, optimizing, and auditing a network to fulfill client needs. The position is applicable for designing and optimizing networks for RAN, BBA, transmission, core, and other services. From the pre-sales of services and networks to the delivery and acceptance of those services, you will be actively involved throughout the process. The job requires you to carry out the design, tuning, auditing, and optimization of services, and you would be responsible for a portion of the solution and the service process. As a result, you must be able to adhere to Ericsson's criteria as well as customer contracts for time, performance, and quality.

- Radio Network Dimensioning & Link Budgets (RAN, ATND, IPRAN and TX)
- Coverage Planning and Capacity-Planning
- Frequency/Scrambling Code/PCI Planning
- Neighbor Planning
- Parameter Audits
- Single Site Verification
- Post Integration performance validation
- Drive Testing & Drive Test analysis
- KPI Performance analysis
- The worst Cells troubleshooting
- Identify add-on sales opportunities
- You will assist in the development of a service proposal
- Participate in knowledge-sharing activities
- You will collect and document customer requirements
- Implement VoLTE functionality and required features where applicable.
- VoLTE RAN Audit, configuration and mobility design where applicable.
- VoLTE E2E performance troubleshooting with the focus on audio gap optimization where applicable.
- Prepare and coordinate aim to effective SRVCC-testing where applicable.
- Produce documented engineering methods, procedures and present to the customer
- Engineer as soon as possible for SRVCC testing where applicable.
- Provide technical support in customer discussion, presentations
- Supervise 2G/3G & LTE and 5G Network Performance
- 2G, 3G & LTE parameter consistency checks, tuning and optimization to improve efficiency, Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility etc.
- Handling customer complaints and provide solution with proper explanation report.
- Whole Network parameter audit and to provide recommendation to sort-out inconsistencies
- Necessary feature implementation and recommend parameters settings to better data services
- Participation in development of service portfolio
- Engagement with CxO level at customer end to present project updates, strategic direction, risks, and recommendations for Network improvement programs
- Motivate changes in the methods, processes, and guidelines within the customer organization or internally
- Act as a leader and mentor in day-to-day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues
- Engagement with sales and accounts teams to Drive add-on sales and new business opportunities during the entire process to give to increased sales volumes
- Competence in advanced feature trials and implementation for 2G,3G and LTE with the introduction of 5G
- Implement, fine tune and benchmark features implemented into the network in line with customer presentation and expectation.
Transmission
Radio Delivery of Transmission Network Design and Optimization including Microwave, Long haul, VSAT and Fibre as applicable and deliver BoQs as per Managed Capacity Contract after considering inventory levels and by ensuring capture of spares as required by Operations Team
- Support RAN and core teams for identification, augmentation & optimization of north and south bound interfaces (eg, Iub, Nb, A-bis, Ater, A, PoI etc)
- Delivery of DCN, Sync and NTP performance audit
- Handshake of AOP inputs with customer and identify and flag gaps from transport perspective to ensure a resilient transport layer
- Verify and review the NCP and handshake with ND - MTN. Also document deviations if any on account of lack of Capex, non-adherence to design guidelines etc.
- Smooth inter-working with 3GPP nodes in the existing network
- Customer interface for all Transmission performance activities at the OPCO
- Ensure smooth interworking with RAN, BSS and PBN network components
- Ensure transmission services delivery from GSC and periodic audits as captured in the WLA
- Identify and flag operational issues and preventive maintenance that is impacting transmission network performance.
- Support RAN team in quality issues arising from transmission network
- Perform Feasibility and impact Analysis on the products to be launched in the market by customer.
- Support Contract Management for Reconciliation, KPI & other matters.
- Support FNI and feature testing as required
- Support LCM for Transmission domain in the OPCO
- Work with the central design, optimization and program management teams in matters of BoQ review, KPI Review and Governance
Qualifications
- Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or
- 6+ years’ experience of deploy system test and lead testing team.
- If you have ISEB/ISTQB software testing qualifications that would be an advantage
- Knowledge of local OHS statutory regulations and group OHS requirements
