Motorcycle rider is a job title.
Report to the in-charge Transport Officer/Laboratory.
job purpose:
To transport specimens from health facilities to district laboratories and deliver results from district laboratories to health facilities.
PRINCIPAL ACCCOUNTERBILITIES(MAIN DUTIES)
-Ride motor bike safely and regularly to transport the samples from the community to health facilities and from the health facilities to district and deliver
-results and TB/HIV logistics from the district to health facilities.
- Prepares accidents reports to facilitate decision making
-Undertake routine filing in of log books in order to enhance accountability of trips.
-Undertakes regularly basic motorbike inspection to ascertain its road worthiness.
- Facilitate servicing and repair of motor bikes according to the maintenance schedule.
JOB SPECIFFICATION /REQUREMENTS
-Grade twelve certificate.
-Must be between the age 21 and 45 years.
-SADI Motor bike Riders license.
-Added advantage minimal motor bike mechanical knowledge.
-minimum of one (1) year experience of active riding in sand terrain.
-Able to write reports.
-Able to communicate effectively in English.
